We are delighted to have been selected to represent the region as a Judge at the Ryman National Enterprise Challenge Grand Final in partnership with the University of Football Business (UCFB).
We will be joining Rebecca Greenhalgh, owner of Education @ Heart, an Education Consultant Company in Shropshire, amongst others, at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 10th July 2019.
1,500 challenge finalists from Key Stage 3 (years 7&8) and Key Stage 4 (years 9 & 10) including the local Grove School ‘Team R’ have been selected from 235 schools throughout England to make ‘real life’ business pitches to judging panel of Dragons on the day. They will present their ideas interpreted from a brief set in advance of the contest and already presented in the first stages by The National Enterprise Challenge and UCFB.
The all female Grove School students ‘Team R’ who won the regional round in May will also be taking part at Wembley! ‘Team R’, were chosen by the local dragons – including Rocket Communications and Events Ltd – for their emphasis on brand storytelling, good presentation skills and obvious research and preparation.
Julia Roberts of Rocket Communications Ltd said: ‘’This is great opportunity for young people to experience the challenge of pitching to a live audience. I am very much looking forward to taking part as a judge and particularly looking forward to seeing the student’ creativity in action.’
The challenge which is supported by long standing partner Ryman and entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis, will take place over the course of a day at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 10th July from 9am to 5pm.
Rocket Communications & Events Ltd is supporting the careers and education programme at the Grove School Market Drayton, funded in order to raise the aspirations of the Grove students and providing them with first-hand experience with businesses, employers and inspirational speakers.
